Maps and bolivian Cartographies

 The IGM (Instituto Geografico Militar) have produced most of the maps of Bolivia. However, where maps from other sources are available these will be referenced. Orientation and GPS (Global Positioning System) coordinates are also included.

Illampu

As the Illampu–Ancohuma massif has the greatest number of technical routes in Bolivia; we have added special emphasis to this chapter and have included many diagrams and photographs. (Refer also to the maps: Joint Operation Graphic – Air sheets Nº SD19-15 and sheet Nº SE 19-3 scale: 1: 250.000. System: UTM and grades longitude/ latitude).
